Rothwell Primary School

Last Friday morning, Class 2 KS had an amazing time with Mr Deveney from 'Classroom Kitchen' (who some of you may recognise). They made super healthy pizzas with half and half bases, mozzarella, lots of fruits and vegetables ...... delicious! The children had lots of opportunities to learn and practice the skills in the cooking and 'Healthy Schools' curriculum. During the afternoon Mr Deveney worked with Year 5 children who also leaned how to cook delicious and healthy meals. A fantastic and tasty opportunity!

Thank you Mr Deveney!

Aw it’s lovely to see Mr Deveney back at school. I bet the kids didn’t want him to leave again 😊

James was very excited to see Mr Deveney again! I thought he was just saying it but here is the proof! Great experience thanks x

We are very excited to announce that this year our Key Stage 1 Christmas concert will be ‘Lights, Camel, Action’. The Year 1 children will be singing and dancing in the Performance, while the Year 2 children will take on the main parts of the narrators and characters in this comical production. This evening Year 2 children were given a ‘cast sheet’. Please talk with your child about the kind of role they would like to have in the concert. If your child would like one of the main character parts, we encourage them to audition next Tuesday afternoon. This is a fun way for the children to share their talents. All Year 2 children will be given a part in the concert which they feel happy and confident with. The concert will take place on Thursday 13th December, there will be a morning and an afternoon performance. Tickets will be sent home closer to the time as well as any costume requests, however most costumes will be provided by school. Thank you for your support! ... See MoreSee Less
