Some of our favourite snaps of the day with Mr Egypt... ...

Another video for you from Mr Egypt's visit.. ...

Lower Key Stage 2 had the pleasure of a day’s visit from Mr Egypt. What he does not know about Ancient Egypt is not worth knowing! The children have explored artefacts, written and read in hieroglyphics, joined in with Egyptian dancing and listened to some fascinating stories. The tales were a wonderful mix of stories about the past and of Mr Egypt's adventures around Egypt. The highlight of the day was definitely the 'Mummy Wrapping' - much hilarity - especially when the children were asked to burst out and scare their classmates! All the children represented Rothwell Primary School brilliantly - all parents and carers should be very proud. Thank you Lower KS2! 😊👍😊 PS - it seems to only be allowing us to post one video at a time so some more to follow... ...

Quick reminder please: Class 3, Class 3-4 and Class 4 - please remember it is PE kits for all Year 3 children and swim ready with your swim bags for all Year 4 children. Quite a few children are not removing earrings (or have tape applied at home if they cannot be removed yet) and are forgetting to fully tie back their hair on PE days, please can you help your children to remember. Thank you. 👍😊👍 ...

Year 3 to come in kits please. Year 4 in uniform, swim ready underneath with kit in a bag. 😀

Do they still need to come in pe kits or in a bag to change at school? Thankyou

Our Nursery boys and girls were super excited to do ‘Dough Disco’ for the first time today! Not only is it lots of fun, it strengthens children’s fine motor muscles to enable them to develop their pencil grip which in turn will develop their writing skills! Amazing effort, superstars! ✏️🌟💚 ...
