My name is Lindsey Bown and I am proud to be the Inclusion Manager at Rothwell Primary School.
I am extremely passionate about ensuring that all of our children receive the very best; in order to ensure they are able to REACH their potential.
We are proud of our inclusive ethos and of the quality of provision that we are able to offer our children in terms of supporting their SEND and SEMH needs. We recognise that all children are individuals, with different wants and needs and we strive to meet these diverse needs.
Within my role of Inclusion Manager, I am the Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator, Designated Child Protection Officer, Attendance Manager and Pastoral/Social and Emotional Mental Health Leader. I am also the STARS (Specialist Training in Autism and Raising Standards) lead practitioner in school.
As Inclusion Manager, it is my job to ensure that the needs of individual children are being met first and foremost through adaptations within quality first teaching and, where appropriate, targeted support and intervention.
I work closely alongside class teachers, children, learning support staff and parents/carers as well as outside agencies in order to provide a child centred approach to best support the individual needs of our young people.
I am happy to discuss any concerns or support your child may require.
