The Governors are seeking to appoint an outstanding, highly motivated and enthusiastic teacher who is passionate about providing the very best learning opportunities for our children in Reception / Key Stage 1, in order to ensure they ‘REACH’ their full potential

The person appointed will be expected to:

    • Have a positive mindset and a determination to ensure all children have the best life
    • Be committed to self- improvement and reflective practice as a teacher
    • Have exemplary classroom practice and is committed to developing children as
      independent learners and thinkers.
    • Promote learning based on using excellent subject knowledge and respond effectively
      to their learners ensuring appropriate challenge for all pupils.
    • Contribute to the drive for high expectations of achievement, attainment and
      behaviour for all.
    • Effectively use data and other forms of monitoring to track and ensure the progress of
      classes and groups.
    • Build positive relationships with all staff.
    • Be an active member of the phase team, developing positive relationships and
      contributing to whole school improvement.
    • Lead a subject across school

The post is full time MPS 1 – 2, temporary for 1 year to cover a maternity leave to start in September 2024.
